Hey! This is my very first giveaway and I am so very excited!!
So, one of my favorite designers happens to be Tula Pink and Parisville is my favorite of her lines.
I started a Parisville Quilt that I am calling "Parisian Owl."
As I was putting it together I thought about doing this contest. This fabric is so much fun to work with that I want to see how somebody else would us it. So now I am offering a contest to win A Fat Quarter Bundle of 5 Parisville fabric for your stash!!!
It's Ok to drool.....
There is a clincher though. You must show me how you used it! I would love to see another's point of view.
Ok, all you have to do is leave a comment on how you would use Parisville....
I will choose the winner Wednesday the 20th..... US only please...
The winner will be chosen using Random.com.
Ok, next.
This week was a weird one, but in a way I got good news. I was hired at a wonderful quilt shop!! It's called Sew Worth It ! It's a beautiful shop and has a ton of beautiful fabrics, classes, and they sell (my absolute favorite) BabyLocks!!!!
Well, all the gals that work their were the cutest aprons, well that means I wanted to make me one to wear on my first day, and here she is........
I absolutely love the way it came out!
And lastly...
I made a new mini quilt, take a look...
Ohh.... and one more thing...
Yoshimi says Hi!

ReplyDeleteHi! I don't think I have seen the collection before. I would either do a mug rug, place mats or a mini-quilt. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteSo so fun! My three year-old has been begging me for a fancy quilt for her MANY baby dolls. Some of it would probably go to her but those purples are too good for that and I'd have to find the perfect me project for them, hmm. Your mini is adorable by the way, and I love your dog's very Japanese sounding name. We're all about Japan at my house.
ReplyDeleteHi! I just bought "Quilts from the House of Tula Pink" a couple of weeks ago. I would probably make some small ditty bags or zipper cosmetic bags. Thanks! Love your apron, did you use a pattern or tutorial? Congrats on the new job!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd probably make some zipper pouches or a mini quilt with the fabric. Darling prints! Love your apron too!!
ReplyDeleteHi Anna and welcome to the exciting world of blogging. Cute fabrics! Is that a pig on one of them?
ReplyDeleteShould I win, not that that ever happens, I would make some awesome framed purses.
Congrats on your new job! I would love to work in a quilt shop. I would probably make more than one thing with these beautiful prints, first thought is lately I've wanted to make a new makeup brush roll, and probably a mini quilt. Thanks for the giveaway! If you haven't already tell One Stop Give Away Shop about your giveaway and it may help you get some more traffic.
ReplyDeletethanks for the tip on One Stop Giveaway Shop!!
DeleteHi Anna, first of all I just want to say I love your apron...very cute!! I'm sure it will be a hit at your new job (try not to spend your entire paycheck there ;-) Thanks for the chance to win the Tula Pink bundle. I would either make a mini quilt or some small bags.

Oh my goodness, Anna...I live in Bradenton (Lakewood Ranch area) and shop in Sew Worth It all the time. Congrats on getting the job, I'll look out for you the next time I am there. I'll look for your pretty apron :) OK, now for the giveaway...I love Tula Pink and would use the fat quarters to make a lovely totebag or purse.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the apron and getting the job. I hope it is a great experience for you. I'm new here through the one stop giveaway blog. I'd love to win the parisville. I like to do simple square patchwork quilts so maybe something like that would be made.
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to say hello! I'm working on a Parisville quilt for my hand stitching class. Pics of my progress will be on my blog. Feel free to stop by!
ReplyDeleteCute apron and good luck with your first day! I would love to make a table runner using these fabrics. Since you'd like us to show you what we'd make, here is a link to a tutorial I might use to make my project:

Oh, what fun to work in a quilt shop. I love your apron!
ReplyDeleteI might use the Parisville for an awesome apron like yours! Or perhaps a mini quilt...
How fun! I say, throw in a few solids/blenders and make a nice lap quilt. The colors are very "loungy" to me. Would look nice in the living room ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd use it for a quilt for sure :)
ReplyDeleteIf I worked in a quilt shop they may as well just pay me in fabric; I'm sure I would spend my check as I worked! Congrats on the job. I would probably use this fabric in a wall hanging or table runner. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI love Parisville! Gosh, how would I use it... humm... probably by making a mini quilt for my sewing room! I've never made a mini quilt before and think it'd be a great way to try some intricate quilting. :)
ReplyDeleteEeeek! My email is meandelnaATgmailDOTcom . www.meandelna.blogspot.com

Congrats on the new job. I would use the fabric to make a cute little doll quilt for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the job. I would love to work in a quilt shop, but wouldn't make any money! Your apron is really cute. I'm not sure what I would make. I am really into mug rugs and pencil cases right now and it would be lovely to have some fat quarters for them. I would surely show you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new job. Thanks for the chance to win. I'd make a new bag.
ReplyDeleteHello! Great fabric! I think I would use it to inspire a new quilt. Thanks!

Cute apron. I would use that fabric to make a sewing machine cover for a friend that loves Tula Pink. She has been very generous to me. Thank you and great blog!
ReplyDeleteThe apron is very cute, and I would definitely use the parisville in a quilt! Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYour apron is adorable. I would use Parisville to make a new purse!
ReplyDeleteI would use it to make a quilt with my lil' twister ruler. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteA job in a quilt shop? How fabulous and dangerous! If I won the giveaway I would probably make either patchwork pillows or a throw for my middle daughter; she wants to redo her room in lavender and teal. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou put together a great bundle, and since I'm really into bags right now, I would fine a tote bag pattern make something that shows off the Marie Antoinette-ish heads. Fun!
ReplyDeleteI would try my hand at some New York Beauty blocks - http://www.sewsweetness.com/2012/02/new-york-beauty-quilt-along.html
ReplyDeleteMy mother made a very large NYB quilt so between the QAL and my mother, I'm sure it will turn out very pretty with the Parisville fabrics. I could oversize the blocks so would show off the beautiful large scale prints.
p.s. I've been attempting to post a comment for most of today and having problems.
Cool! Thanks!
