Tula Pink Giveaway!!! and other stuff...

And the winner is...... Barbara!!!! Yea!!!
Barbara said " I would use it to make a quilt."
So now when you make that quilt I will showcase it on the blog!! ( I will send you an email shortly)
Thanks to you all!!!
****I did use Random.org, however, I could not figure out how to put the generator on this page, so the generator chose #21, that's Barbara!

Hey! This is my very first giveaway and I am so very excited!!
So, one of my favorite designers happens to be Tula Pink and Parisville is my favorite of her lines.
I started a Parisville Quilt that I am calling "Parisian Owl."
As I was putting it together I thought about doing this contest. This fabric is so much fun to work with that I want to see how somebody else would us it. So now I am offering a contest to win A Fat Quarter Bundle of 5 Parisville fabric for your stash!!!

It's Ok to drool.....

There is a clincher though. You must show me how you used it! I would love to see another's point of view.
Ok, all you have to do is leave a comment on how you would use Parisville....
I will choose the winner Wednesday the 20th..... US only please...
The winner will be chosen using Random.com.

Ok, next.

This week was a weird one, but in a way I got good news. I was hired at a wonderful quilt shop!! It's called Sew Worth It ! It's a beautiful shop and has a ton of beautiful fabrics, classes, and they sell (my absolute favorite) BabyLocks!!!!
Well, all the gals that work their were the cutest aprons, well that means I wanted to make me one to wear on my first day, and here she is........

I absolutely love the way it came out!

And lastly...

I made a new mini quilt, take a look...

Ohh.... and one more thing...
Yoshimi says Hi!

 See ya'll on Wednesday!

  2. Hi! I don't think I have seen the collection before. I would either do a mug rug, place mats or a mini-quilt. Thanks for the chance!

  3. So so fun! My three year-old has been begging me for a fancy quilt for her MANY baby dolls. Some of it would probably go to her but those purples are too good for that and I'd have to find the perfect me project for them, hmm. Your mini is adorable by the way, and I love your dog's very Japanese sounding name. We're all about Japan at my house.

  10. Great job on the apron and getting the job. I hope it is a great experience for you. I'm new here through the one stop giveaway blog. I'd love to win the parisville. I like to do simple square patchwork quilts so maybe something like that would be made.

  35. A job in a quilt shop? How fabulous and dangerous! If I won the giveaway I would probably make either patchwork pillows or a throw for my middle daughter; she wants to redo her room in lavender and teal. Thank you!

  36. You put together a great bundle, and since I'm really into bags right now, I would fine a tote bag pattern make something that shows off the Marie Antoinette-ish heads. Fun!

  37. I would try my hand at some New York Beauty blocks - http://www.sewsweetness.com/2012/02/new-york-beauty-quilt-along.html
My mother made a very large NYB quilt so between the QAL and my mother, I'm sure it will turn out very pretty with the Parisville fabrics. I could oversize the blocks so would show off the beautiful large scale prints.
p.s. I've been attempting to post a comment for most of today and having problems.
